Chaperones
If you wish to have a chaperone present during your appointment please ask. Most practice staff have received chaperone training but if we are unable to provide a chaperone immediately we may need to re-arrange the appointment to be carried out at a mutually convenient time.
District Nurses
A team of District Nurses provide nursing care in the home for patients medically unfit to travel to the surgery. Referrals can be made by contacting reception.
Midwife
The midwives are responsible for all aspects of patient care during and immediately after pregnancy. They hold ante-natal clinics at Hawkinge Community Centre by appointment. Initial contact with the midwife at Hawkinge can be arranged through the practice. Please contact the reception desk.
