Heart Conditions & Strokes

Our heart condition/stroke service is run by our nurse specialist Julia Davies with medical input by Dr Robert Stewart. Maggie is our receptionist who is responsible for arranging the appointments.

Arrangements will be made for patients with the following conditions to be called on a regular basis for routine screening and assessment:

• TIA (Transient Ischaemic Attack)
• PVD (Periphial Vascular Disease) – leg circulatory problems
• Heart failure
• Irregular heartbeat/Atrial fibrillation
